Apollo's Fund

Apollo

This program is named for the inspiration behind Animal Resource Foundation. Apollo was diagnosed with Canine Lymphosarcoma shortly after his 4th birthday. Several treatment options were available but the one that held the most promise was also the most expensive.

Unfortunately, this is often the case in veterinary medicine. While the cost can be frustrating we also have to take into consideration those providing the services. They are not charging exorbitant pricing just to inconvenience or bankrupt pet owners, rescue groups or shelters. They too, have expenses to cover. The fees charged for these services are what allow the clinic to offer state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, specialized doctors, expert staff and around-the-clock care and hospital services.

While Apollo was able to receive the best care possible, not all animals are this fortunate. Homeless animals are especially vulnerable as they have no one to provide and pay for their care. This is where we come in. We want to help rescue organizations that step up and take on animals that others won’t because of the initial investment. We don’t want an animal to suffer or die just because they don’t have a family to care for them.

Animal Resource Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

This program is for life-threatening accidents and illnesses only. Animal Resource Foundation will NOT provide funds for non-essential or elective procedures or surgeries that do not enhance the life of the animal. This would include declawing, de-barking, docking tails, and cropping ears, among others. These are procedures that are unnecessary and are done for the convenience of the pet owner and do not benefit the pet.
