Apollo's Fund
This program is named for the inspiration behind Animal Resource Foundation. Apollo was diagnosed with Canine Lymphosarcoma shortly after his 4th birthday. Several treatment options were available but the one that held the most promise was also the most expensive.
Unfortunately, this is often the case in veterinary medicine. While the cost can be frustrating we also have to take into consideration those providing the services. They are not charging exorbitant pricing just to inconvenience or bankrupt pet owners, rescue groups or shelters. They too, have expenses to cover. The fees charged for these services are what allow the clinic to offer state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, specialized doctors, expert staff and around-the-clock care and hospital services.
Animal Resource Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
This program is for life-threatening accidents and illnesses only. Animal Resource Foundation will NOT provide funds for non-essential or elective procedures or surgeries that do not enhance the life of the animal. This would include declawing, de-barking, docking tails, and cropping ears, among others. These are procedures that are unnecessary and are done for the convenience of the pet owner and do not benefit the pet.
If you are a rescue group needing assistance please click Apply to explain your situation and apply for funding. Please give as much detail as possible about the animal, the condition, treatment needed and veterinary clinic providing the care. Please be sure to include your contact information. If you are a group we are not familiar with, additional documentation may be required.
